Nayymo Wolfshade

Some years ago, in the Echo Isles, there were a small band of nomad trolls. Their leader was Nayymo Wolfshade, a shaman with the ferocity of a wolf spirit. Because of his fighting style and his name, he was known by the members of his tribe by "the wolf".

The band lived traveling the land now known as Dutorar, doing small missions and reckoning for the Darkspear Trolls.

At the time of Alliance attack in the Echo Isles by the Kul Tiras, they were getting back to Echo Isles for supplies.

In the way they meet Zol'jin Shadowtusk that joined them. As they reached Echo Isles they meet a weird party, as they aproach Nayymo recognized Rokhan that was with Rexxar and Chen Stormstout. Nayymo offered to assist them, and so, under Rexxar command, they battled against the invaders of the Echo Isles, the Grand Admiral Daelin Proudmoore's expeditionary fleet.

Mishann

Three years ago, a group of horde soldiers were sent to Northrend. Their mission was establish a base, cartograph the area and connect with the locals.

(...)

A few days after they set the camp, they were found by a scourge army, lead by Rivendare himself. This tragic encounter lead to the defeat of most of the troops and an even worse fate for the rest of them.

They were taken to Naxxramas and reborn as Death Knights, following the will of the Lich King. With new toys, Razuvious made the survivors fight in a small tournament to the death. Mishann was the last one standing.

When the Lich King invaded New Avalon and Havenshire, Mishann played a key role in the events that lead to the victory of that battle. However in the Battle for Light's Hope Chapel, Fordring was able to make the Lich King retreat to Northrend to avoid battle with the weilder of the Ashbringer on holy ground. After this, many Death Knights broke free from the Lich King's control.

Now she pledged her loyalty to the Dark Lady, as her goals are the same. Revenge for the cursed life she has...

She joined the Ice Age, a military group where she is Advisor. With the Ice Age, she went back to Northrend, and razed the cursed necropolis Naxxramas bringing an end to Kel'thuzad, the leader of the Cult of the Damned, who served the Lich King.

Mahara's Journal

=> THIS POST IS INCOMPLETE AND HAS A LOT OF GRAMAR ISSUES

transcription of some days of Mahara's diary, related to the Northren event

day 1
"A flying citadel is upon Orgrimmar, creating an army of mindless scourge right in front of our gates. how could this be possible. How could? Arthas left Northrend? Would this be his plan ? Why Orgrimar and not Stormwind, or Lorderon? Would be ironic he invade for the second time the lands that in time would be his own.."

day 2
"Call from aid come from Undercity, Thunderbluff some other villages. There are rumours about Alliance territory to be also under attack. This is not an isolated attack, they are attacking at wide force, trying to destroy the world all at same time. Moral of most soldiers is down."

day 3
"Adventurers are taken the lead of the fight agains the scourge invaders all around Azeroth. But the scourge don't take control of a zone and spread from there? Why such massive attack all over the world? They do have numbers, their army seems endless. With such fast and coordinate attack if we don't sustain the first waves all will be lost. But if we manage to control the hordes what will they do? Perhaps this attack is not but a diversion. The true battleplace is elsewhere. Arthas.. you son of a bitch, you ruined my live.. what are you planing this time ? I must do something !"

day 4
"Today I gathered some provisions, visited a few contacts in Orgrimmar, and made some preparations to my departure. Tomorow morning, very earlier, i'll ride Everlook. There i'll manage a way to travel to Northren."

day 5
"My ride to Everlook when peaceful, at least for me. The elves that I found in Ashenvale road were not that lucky, the idiots tryed to ambush me...
In Everlook was not that hard find a way to reach Northren, a shiny coin and a goblin told me that the brother of his business partner of his sister's cousin have a decent zeppelin. He arrives tomorrow morning don't know from where, nor I care. I just hope that ship can fly and resist the frozen winds. Perhaps will be harder to me convince him to take me there than the zeppelin survive the trip"

day 6
"I am disapointed. It's kinda small, we barely have decent space in the deck. But i don't have other solution. The goblin was an hard negociatior.. i had to spare a LOT of coins but probably it was a fair deal. He said that there is a small camp of goblins in the Borean Tundra, and that camp is where he will leave me. Tomorrow is the big day, already have everything prepared."

day 7
"The zeppelin is not that terrible afterall. I thought i would take about 3 days to reach my destiny.. but with this pace tomorrow we'll reach land in The Borean Tundra. From my conversations there are some Tuskarr camps there. They didn't mind with the goblin camp, they even seem impressed with the goblins fishing devices. I wonder if they could give me any assistance".

day 8
"We landed in the small goblin camp. He introduced my to Btun. The master engineer there, Isaw some weird devices, later i came to know that were advanced fishing devices that he was trying to negotiate with some crazy Tuskarr. But i must confess that they realy worked. Tomorrow i'll start my explorations."

day 9
"I realized that i didn't realy had a plan once arriving here. Btun had a scrap of a map. It is very incomplete. in North there is a lake, not frozen however. To the West there is some camps of Tuskarr, they are almost in all the Tundra, with the exception with the South-western corner. There is a naga stronghold. Northwest there is a strange jungle, but that should be impossible in this frozen lands, probably the goblin that was taking the notes from the zeppelin had some pints.. To the East.. well.. the biggest graveyard ever seen.. a dragon graveyard. This is how far has this goblis adventured into this lands from the air. And i have made my choice. I shall go North, above the lake. I'll go from the East part of the lake.

day 10
"Btun negociated with the tuskarr to escort me to the borders between the Tundra and the Dragonblight. And here i am, with the Tuskarr.. eating fish, and more fish. From tomorrow i'll procedure alone."

day 11
"I saw amazing symphony in the sky. Drakes, old drakes, about ten of them, arrived, and lied into a pile of enourmous bones, probably from their bloodline. They standed there, still, waiting for death.. There are no words to describe such place. looking to the East i don't see the end of this graveyard. From my calculations I must be 2 days far from the north edge of the Dragonblight. I wonder what surprises i'll have tomorrow"

day 12
"Necromancers, raising wyrms from the old bones. the scourge is creating a flying army with the bones of old dragons, who else could be? From all the dragonflights, are raising now mindless flying beasts. Perhaps the scourge is planing something even worse than i thought. I wonder what would happen if the Necropolis war do not end before the scourge send these army to Azeroth"

day 13
"An giant mountain lies ahead of me. Meaning that is time for me to start moving a bit to the west, going around. Acordingly to my knowledge, beneath it, must be underground Kingdom of the insectoid Nerubians, the ( not by many known ) kingdom of Azjol-Nerub. My scientific proof is that closer i get from the mountain, more spiderlings i have to trample."

day 14
"I managed to avoid the entrance, i reached the north part of the lake. I am following a river now to North, not by his margin, ocasionaly i see some nagas on it, it's better try to avoid them. As i advance, the clouds are getting more dark and dense. Hope this is not a bad signal.

day 15
"The clouds are weird, one minute is clear the sky in other its clouded again. The wind is the only thing i hear, very very far I see something like a monolith, at this distance i can't see clearly what it is, but i hope my intuition is trying to decieve me and that is not what i think.

day 16
"impossible... the Frozen Throne.. it is true.. after all it does exist.. at his feet the largest army i ever seen... nerubians, abominations, ghouls, skeletons.. this cannot be possible, there is something i can do, no, i am powerless here.. i am.." *strange signs, without any meaning or sense*

day 17
"yesterday i fell incounscious while writing my diary, i can't explain what happened, as soon as i awake i start riding back. today i am riding south, i have to go back to the goblin camp, but i have to take the path from the jungle of Sholazar Basin, an army of flying wyrms was coming from the Dragonblight, it's not prudent pass in that area again."

day 18
"i fell incounscious again today, it's just for some moments apearantly, but i hear something, voices in my head, yelling something but the source seems so far that i can't understand that they say". I'll rest some hours before i enter the jungle, i wonder how is this possible.

day 19
- "same dream.. always same dream.. i dream awake..

Mahara's Journey to Northrend

This story happened a couple of weeks after the first sight of the flying necropolis over the major cityes in Azeroth. Mahara were missing since the first days and Zol'jin were missing since the last week.
The Dragonblood Conclave among other guilds were taking the lead of the fight against the scourge invaders.. one of these days our story starts..

Zol'jin is sweating, he is very tired and in a very bad shape. However he is not as tired as his raptor mount for sure that running at all speed, rushed through Orgrimmar main entrance followed closely by Shadowfang, Zol'jin loyal friend, a vigorous black lion. In the raptors back is also Mahara's cold body. They were ridding in that edge since some hours ago.. But the stakes are high, if they take too long could be too late for Mahara.
Finally, the Dragonblood tavern. With an agile movement Zol'jin dismounts, take Mahara's inconscious body from the raptor's back and with the body in his arms rush into the tavern slamming the door and yelling:

- Sylana, Sylana !

That scared for sure everyone inside, a troll in panic slamming the door and yelling, with a body in his arms. He was wearing a very severed mail armor, with spikes in right shoulder. Perhaps the left shoulder had spikes also, but that part armor was all broken, instead Zol'jin had a large wound, large bite probably. He was lucky in be alive with such large wound. In Zol'jin's back was long serrated blade and a crossbow with some tribal decorations.
With care he put Mahara's inconscient body in a table and yelled:

- Where be m'lady Sylana ? Sent messagers after her... only her can save Mahara!

Taking back a few minutes....
The tavern stood has always, beside the light sound of small talk and the constant request for drinks it was pretty silent, even more silent than usual, but Orgrimmar was a bit strange this last few days.

Sitting in front of beam of light that rained down a table from a near window, an Orc was reading, his eye's covered in shadow looking at an old tome that stood on the table.

As the moment the Troll went inside the tavern Mordai didn't payed attention, only raising his eyes from the book due to the fuzz generated after the troll called for of one of his brethen, his eyes, recognizing Zol'jin at first glance, a not so good looking Zol'jin but there he stood.
Mordai raised from his bench next to the wall, has he tought to himself what did appened to that crazy Troll, he went undetected for long.

When he notices Zol'jin laying down a unconscient if not dead body and calling down help for Mahara, Mordai almost runed over a few people that stood in the way.

- Zol'jin?? what Appened to Mahara??

The troll stayed with a empty eyes and a silent panic. The orc glanced worried at Mahara.

- How can this be , she shouldn't be this way, she is un...

Mordai refraimed, and a second later took a look to the people that surrounded him has he searched for Sylana, not founding her, looked once again at Zol'jin and tried to get some information out of him.

- Where the hell did you found her, where the hell have you both been.

Zol'jin inhale deeply trying to regain his breath.

- da frozen lands mon.. in da top of Azeroth.. can ya believe it? what was she thinkin' goin dere alone?

Zol'jin looks around and yells once more:

- what da hell ya all be doin'? go find Sylana!

With a calm stride a shady figure steps forth from a dark corner. As the tendrils of the dark realm slowly let go, a familiar figure materializes in the dim lighting of the tavern.

- I believe I heard my name? I'm kinda sure even, the amount of noise produced here could have been heard in another dimension! *cough*

With a firm stride Sylana walks over to the table and peers at the people near. Mahara, lying on the table, unconscious, not in good shape... Zol'jin standing next to her, in panic, severe wounds showing on him as well... And Mordai, one of the taverns regulars who was brutaly wakened from his slight slumbering off...

- So what's this here? What's wrong with her and how did this happen?

With one eye on Zol'jin, awaiting some answers, Sylana starts to inspect the lifeless body on the table in front of her.

- At least she's not completely lost yet! she tosses a quick glance at the bartender You there! Bring me my kit, my herbs and the biggest dose of luck you can find! Lets see what we can do.

With Sylanas word's Mordai's spirit got more relieved. Moved over the bartender.
Turning back next to where Zol'jin were, just in front of a working Sylana and a unconcienst Mahara, the orc brought two cups in his hands, one gave to the troll, and pulled a chair to the his left side, drunk a sip from the remaining cup an reached for a Bandage.

- I am no healer, but this will do until Sylana can see you... In the meantime, start spiting all that happen to you and Mahara.

A bit more reliefed but still very emotive, Zol'jin explained what happened...

couple of days ago..
It was almost the sunset, Zol'jin was in Northrend scouting with Shadowfang for trail that could lead them to Mahara since two days ago. At that time, he sensed something comming out of some bushes.. he didn't recognise at first, but Shadowfang rushed and Zol'jin went after him. It was Mahara's horse crippled, running from his pursuer, exhausted and injured he felt in the ground with Mahara's body.
Zol'jin dismounted from his raptor and went to assist Mahara that was to injured and too exhausted even try to get up. At that time the pursuer revealed itself, a big Nerubian was charging against them. Shadowfang engaged him and Zol'jin drew the crossbow and unleashed everything he got until the Nerubian in rage slammed Shadowfang against a tree and charged to Zol'jin. The troll dropped the crossbow and picked his Barbarian Sword, dodging and parrying the Nerubian attacks he was able to keep the enemy away from Mahara. Zol'jin was bleeding and so the Nerubian was.. to win Zol'jin had to make the Nerubian bleed more than him.
Then, with a headbutt Zol'jin fell prone and with a leg the Nerubian holded Zol'jin into that vulnerable position. The Nerubian was hitting Zol'jin hard, until Mahara with her last breath casted a protective shield on Zol'jin, as he realized the why the pain stopped, he looked to Mahara only to see her fall in the ground unconscious. The Nerubian was preparing his jaws to finish Zol'jin but Shadowfang slammed against him again in time, providing a distraction and time enough for Zol'jin to reach his sword and cut the Nerubian head off..
