A long ago Zol'jin left the Echo Isles to find new challenges in Kalimdor wilds. In the Barrens he found the peculiar beast to tame and be his companion. Tame him would be a great archievment for this young troll. The posant black lion is now known as Shadowfang. During his adventures Zol'jin developed great hunting and nature skills. When he came back for the Echo Isles he found his homeland being invaded. He joined with Nayymo's band and meet Rexxar and Rokhan. They fought together for the freedom of his kind, and for a time, they succeeded.
